Sophie Hessekiel is an LA-based, New York-bred writer whose work has appeared in Newsweek, Mashable, and The LA Times. She has worked in writers' rooms for multiple TV shows, including The Cleaning Lady, where she co-wrote episode 207.

She started her media career working midnight shifts at Good Morning America, learning that sleep is for the weak while writing about women, power, and relationships. A graduate of Vassar College, she now focuses on celebrity news, entertainment, and pop culture.
