Founded in 1937 by Parisian inventor Jean Mantelet, Moulinex began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: to make cooking easier for everyone. Mantelet’s first breakthrough—the Moulin-Légumes, a hand-cranked vegetable mill—laid the foundation for a brand that would transform kitchens across Europe.

By the 1950s, Moulinex had become a household name, pioneering electric appliances like coffee grinders and food processors. Its slogan, “Moulinex libère la femme” (“Moulinex liberates women”), captured the spirit of post-war modernity and domestic empowerment.

In 2001, Moulinex joined the Groupe SEB family, aligning with other iconic brands like Tefal, Krups, and Rowenta. Today, Moulinex continues to champion user-friendly design, affordable innovation, and the joy of homemade cooking—bringing generations together around the table.

From vegetable mills to smart kitchen tools, Moulinex remains a symbol of French ingenuity, European collaboration, and the belief that great meals start with great ideas.
