Lana Law is a travel writer, award-winning photographer, and managing editor at PlanetWare. Her passion for exploration has taken her to over 50 countries across six continents, as well as 40 U.S. states. She embarked on a year-long independent travel journey through Asia, India, Eastern Europe, and the South Pacific, which kickstarted her career in travel writing in the early 2000s.

She currently resides near Toronto, Canada, with her husband, Michael Law, and spends much of her time hiking, skiing, camping, and canoeing in Canada’s parks during the summer. In winter, she travels extensively, often visiting the American Southwest and the Dominican Republic, while also exploring new destinations each year.

Lana Law is a member of several prestigious travel organizations, including SATW (Society of American Travel Writers), NASJA (North American Snowsports Journalist Association), ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association), and TMAC (Travel Media Association of Canada).
