Karen Creed is an Irish multimedia journalist and presenter with RTÉ, Ireland's national radio and television station. She has been a relief presenter for the Six One News since 2013. Before joining RTÉ, Karen worked for France 24, the Irish Examiner, and Dublin's Q102.

Karen began her career as an intern journalist for News Italia Press in 2004. She then became a senior broadcast journalist for Dublin's Q102 from 2005 to 2008 and later worked as an editor for the Sunday Independent Travel Magazine until 2011. She also freelanced for the Irish Examiner and was a broadcast journalist and news presenter with France 24 until 2013.

Born in Coachford, County Cork, Karen attended Scoil Mhuire in Cork and graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in science and journalism. She is married to Peter Charmant, and they have three children.
