Ireland’s first 24/7 pizza vending machine comes to Dublin

Ireland's first artisan pizza vending machine has come to Dublin. Bosca Pizza is now in Texaco, Newcastle on the southside of the city.

The 24-hour-kiosk aims to serve those in service stations, shopping centres, college campuses, office buildings, hospitals, small towns without fast food outlets, and various other locations.

The journey of Bosca Pizza began with a trip to France, where brothers Franck and Marc discovered the concept of a unique, 24/7 artisan pizza offering.

They recognised the absence of such a concept in Ireland, where Franck lived.

With their background in the restaurant and food sectors, they were determined to bring this innovative offering to their home country, and they embarked on a mission to make it a reality.

Their first location opened in Naas in 2022 and Bosca Pizza quickly gained popularity. It continues to expand today.

The pizzas are prepared by hand in a high-quality kitchen “with top quality ingredients before being delivered to the machines”.

“They are then carefully kept in the cold chain to keep the ingredients fresh until your order,” a statement read.

“The machine has a refrigerator that keeps the pizzas fresh at 3C.

“Upon your order, the pizza is automatically moved from the fridge to the pizza oven where it’s cooked at a very high temperature, each pizza having a specific setting.”

How does a pizza vending machine work?

Once a customer places an order, a robotic arm takes their selection from the refrigerated section and moves it into our patented convection oven where it is baked. Once ready, the pizza emerges from a slot at the front of the machine for the customer to grab and enjoy! Is the inside of the machine clean?
