Dublin Airport, known as Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath in Irish, is Ireland's busiest airport and a major international gateway. Located in Collinstown, about 7 km north of Dublin city center, it serves over 34 million passengers annually. The airport opened on January 19, 1940, and has grown significantly since its early days, now featuring two terminals and extensive short, medium, and long-haul networks.

It is a hub for Aer Lingus and a base for Ryanair, offering flights to destinations across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Dublin Airport also provides U.S. border preclearance services, making it one of only two airports in Europe with this facility.
