He has served as Global Head of Culture, Equity & Inclusion at Richemont, the Swiss luxury holding company, and previously at TBWA, a top global advertising agency. His career also includes leadership roles at Magic Johnson Enterprises and advisory work for Tommy Hilfiger’s capital management firm, where he helped build brands and partnerships across industries.

In 2023, Melville published Invisible Generals: Rediscovering Family Legacy, and a Quest to Honor America’s First Black Generals, which became an Amazon #1 best‑selling new release. The book tells the story of his great‑granduncle and great‑grandfather, Benjamin O. Davis Sr. and Jr., who broke barriers in the U.S. military and helped integrate the armed forces. Through this work, Melville highlights how reclaiming hidden family histories can inspire resilience and broaden visions of what is possible today.

Born in Connecticut and an alum of Syracuse University, Melville has traveled to more than 75 countries to study cultural differences and business practices through the lens of diversity and inclusion.
