Anne-Fleur Andrle is a multifaceted journalist for Le HuffPost and beyond, whose career path is as unconventional as it is inspiring. Originally trained as an engineer, she experienced a life-changing revelation in 2008 at Radio Graf’hit in Compiègne: the pure joy of deciphering and narrating the world. This passion led her to pivot from engineering to a career in writing and reporting, eventually moving to the United States to cover American and international news for major outlets like Ouest-France, 20 Minutes, and French Morning.

Based in the U.S. for over fifteen years, Anne-Fleur has become a master of the audio narrative and immersive storytelling. In 2019, she launched the independent podcast "French Expat," which has since grown into a massive success with nearly 2 million listens. Her expertise has led to collaborations with prestigious institutions like the MIT, La French Tech, and the French Embassy. Most recently, in early 2025, she launched "Chroniques Américaines" on Substack—a newsletter and podcast dedicated to exploring the cultural and political shifts of the U.S. beyond the headlines.

Despite her deep roots in America—moving from Buffalo to Boston and finally settling in Denver, Colorado in 2022—she remains a proud Bretonne from a small village near Brest. As a Franco-American, she navigates the space between her two cultures with a "truth-anchored" precision, balancing her work between print and audio. Ultimately, her journey proves that whether you are an engineer or a storyteller, the most powerful tool we possess is the ability to listen with empathy, ensuring that no matter how far we travel, we remain deeply connected to the human stories that shape our world.
