23 Companies Hiring Fully Remote Jobs In 2025

20 February 2025

Remote work is the new company car. "Employees don’t want to drive to work in a fancy car; they don’t want to drive to work at all,” said John Mullinix, director of growth marketing at Ladders.

The ability to work from home is perhaps the most valuable perk employers can offer in 2025, and research shows that those who offer remote work and flexible working options are more easily able to attract top-tier talent, especially in tech, who would be difficult to source otherwise.

Remote work is not only great as benefit to lure candidates in during the recruitment process; it enables employers to improve talent retention rates and reduce turnover too. Approximately 67% of professionals are looking for a new remote job this new year, according to a survey of over 3,000 U.S. workers conducted by FlexJobs in 2024.

But what is it about remote work that makes it such a popular choice for job-seekers and employed professionals alike?

Working from home (or from another location that you temporarily call home at least) allows you to cut costs and protect the environment by saving time and expenses on the commute. This helps you gain time in productivity and focus, while using the extra time to be present for your family and other personal needs.

Remote work also provides flexibility and autonomy for your lifestyle, as well as career growth, without being tied to one specific work location. Many people who opt for working as digital nomads find that they experience improved wellbeing and are able to pursue their passions and interests while working remotely.

But with recent headlines of major employers like AT&T, BlackRock, Chipotle, HSBC and Amazon, as well as the U.S. government mandating full RTO, locating employers that are favorable to a remote work set-up can be challenging and disheartening.

But there’s always a positive flip side. Although these companies (and perhaps many more over the course of the year) are pushing their workers to return to office full-time (or for the greater share of their work week), there are still other employers who recognize the value that remote work provides to their organizations and to their people, and they are currently actively hiring for work-from-home roles.

FlexJobs, a job board for flexible jobs including remote, part-time, and other "flex" opportunities, recently released a list of companies who posted the highest number of remote jobs in 2024. You might not have discovered them yet, but hopefully this fresh list will inspire your job search strategy, helping you to be more laser-focused with your networking and remote job applications: 1. And of course, since remote jobs are so competitive, you need to work harder to stand out. Some ways to achieve this include acquiring remote-specific skills, continuously upskilling, building and showcasing your portfolio, and revamping your resume and LinkedIn profile to speak to your achievements more than merely what you can do. Through putting these principles into action, you can secure a remote job that aligns with your career goals and lifestyle.
