When a young girl vanishes in 1966 Baltimore, the city is shaken. Enter Maddie Schwartz (played by Natalie Portman), a Jewish housewife with a hidden past, itching to become an investigative journalist. On the other side is Cleo Johnson (Moses Ingram), a Black mother navigating the gritty political scene of Baltimore while trying to support her family. At first, their paths seem parallel, but when Maddie fixates on Cleo's mysterious death, things take a dark turn.


3. Twisters

Get ready for a heart-pounding action-thriller starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos. It follows a retired tornado-chaser and meteorologist who's persuaded to return to Oklahoma, joining a fresh team equipped with cutting-edge technology. 4. Love Lies Bleeding

Guess what? Guess what? The 2024 neo-noir romance Love Lies Bleeding has found a new home on Max! The film centers around a gym manager (played by Kristen Stewart) who falls in love with a bodyguard named Jackie (Katy O’Brian). But their love story soon faces a grim twist when they find themselves entangled in a violent crime.
